Fondo

As a Colorado native, I’ve always felt a deep connection to this community. After graduating as valedictorian from Regis Jesuit High School and earning my degree magna cum laude from Colorado College, I pursued a career in medicine to help people in the most direct and meaningful way I could—by helping them stay healthy and active.

I completed my medical education at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where I discovered a passion for orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine. I then returned to Colorado for my orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado, followed by fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine under the renowned Dr. Freddie Fu at the University of Pittsburgh.

Today, I’m honored to care for Kaiser Permanente patients, helping them heal from injuries and return to the activities they love.

About My Practice

I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee. I have a particular interest in shoulder care, performing both minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures—such as rotator cuff and labral repairs—and complex open surgeries, including anatomic and reverse shoulder replacements for arthritis.

My approach is holistic and patient-centered. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the injury. I take the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and what matters most to them. Together, we create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their needs—whether that involves non-operative care or surgical intervention.
When surgery is necessary, I utilize the most current, evidence-based techniques in both arthroscopic and open sports medicine procedures to support a strong and lasting recovery.

My ultimate goal is simple: to help you stay active, move freely, and thrive.
