Dr. Chad Simmons completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami. He then completed a three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Westside Regional Medical Center, where he performed more than 1,000 foot and ankle surgeries and over 2,400 surgical procedures. He also worked closely with the Emergency Department treating traumatic foot and ankle injuries.
Dr. Simmons joined The Foot & Ankle Group in 2009. He previously held staff privileges at several major hospitals in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Lehigh Acres and served on the Physician Quality Committee for the Lee Memorial Hospital system. He also contributed to a national advisory panel for internal fixation systems.
In 2013, Dr. Simmons moved with his family to Colorado and opened Elite Foot and Ankle Center. He is excited to serve patients in this community and has a special interest in rearfoot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
He volunteers with the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project, providing free treatment for children with foot deformities, such as clubfoot.
Outside of work, Dr. Simmons enjoys spending time with his wife, Deja, and their daughter, Aubriella. He loves outdoor activities including fishing, diving, skiing, camping, hiking, golf, and other athletic sports.
